wisdom tooth this space have been kind of quiet for a long time i guess i just dont know what to blog about afterall, my current lifestyle is just about working, teaching & going out shall share about my wisdom tooth surgery(: one of my lower tooth is impacted while the other is growing underneath the gum hence i was recommended to remove it i did not see the point to do so at first since it does not hurt but after much thoughts, i guess i better remove them just in case im so unlucky & sth happen when im overseas i think the dental services there would cost a bomb hence after referral from polyclinic, i chose to go for NDC the first appt with NDC requires a few waiting weeks (i guess mine is not so urgent) but the next appt for the surgery can be quite fast my surgery timing was supposed to be at 830 but there was the expected waiting time and it only started at 920 supposingly an estimated 1/2 hr surgery took close to an hour instead just because my right tooth was really stubborn & difficult to take out lol the dentist (dr wee th) was really nice though throughout the operation he will preempt me on what i would feel/hear & will constantly tell me that im doing really fine simple words, but it really helps alot especially when you are slightly tense & the nurse was really nice too told her im feeling cold & she gave me a hot water bottle to hold onto the dreaded injections was up first haha i think the dentist can tell that im slightly scared cause he kept telling me that it would hurt but just bear with him but i would say the pain was surprisingly bearable even the most painful one was not too bad just after a short while, you can feel the anesthesia taking effect and it just feels numb so the surgery started it was actually quite a cool experience you hear sawing sounds, cracking sounds, pulling and tugging but there is no pain at all he started off with the right side & it took a long time that i was really bored but the left side was much quicker the picture below will tell you why (its kind of bloody though:/)  apparently the left side came out as a whole but for the right side it was totally horizontal so he had to take out pieces by pieces (lol the nurse told me that if i cant piece back the jigsaw puzzle, its because some pieces went into the suctioning tube) but he was really patient kudos to the staffs there (: the after effects of it would be swelling & pain as expected im trying to stay off the painkiller though (he only gave me 5 anyways) i would say the pain is still bearable (it is way much milder than gastric pain if you have experienced it before) and ive only been drinking juices & more juices hahaha i dont think i will try to eat any soft food until days later but overall, i would say it wasnt such a scary experience plus the fact that i had really good staffs tending to me on other note, exactly one month from now, i would be on an airplane leaving for a foreign country starting one new yet exciting journey in my life though its exciting, it is actually kind of scary & you kind of hope the day dont come so soon as the date draws closer & i do still have alot of things to prepare ending with a random picture  (:
